- COVID-19 Exceptions - As of26 October 2020 borders are open quarantine free for some mainland states. Some states are still not open to Tasmania. We encourage guests from those states not open to Tasmania not to make forward bookings at this time. If a mainlander books when quarantine on our Tasmanian Borders is in place then they do so under the understanding that the regular policy applies to the booking. If a mainlander books and at at that time, there is no quarantine in place, and by the time of their booking new lockdowns come into place preventing their free movement, then we will offer a refund or preferably a postponement for their booking. Refunds will be offered minus Paypal fees of 4% of the booking price and a $50 administrative fee for bookings cancelled at least 30 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations that occur less than 30 days in advance will be assessed on a case by case basis depending on the border circumstances, and if the cancellation was reasonably foreseeable or not.
